Arguably, Judy Garland is one of the greatest movie stars of her time. She signed a movie contract in 1935 with Metro Goldwyn Mayer when she was 13, then starred in a string of iconic musical/drama films during her time there, establishing herself as one of the greatest talent never left Hollywood. Her film career was in decline in the early 1960s, and she died at age 47 in 1969, having left behind a legacy of cinematic and Technicolor dreams.
