Kevin Feige Reveals Plans for Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Film News |

Kevin Feige has teased plans for Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The president of Marvel Studios weighed in on the long-running franchise’s development on the big screen, and he admitted that fans will soon have an idea of the film series’ future.

He told Total Film magazine: “As we approach the end of Phase 4, I think people are going to start seeing where this next saga is going.”

Fans are hoping for announcements regarding the MCU’s next stop at Comic-Con this summer or the D23 Expo in September, though nothing is confirmed.

The MCU’s Phase Four saw Disney integrate television into the overall Marvel story, including the likes of “WandaVision” on Disney Plus, which in turn starred in the recent blockbuster “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” .

This opens up more opportunities for Feige and the Marvel team to tell even bigger stories on the big and small screen.

Meanwhile, the exec insisted he’s already dropped “a lot of clues” about the future of the franchise.

He added: “I think there have already been many clues, which are at least apparent to me, as to where this whole saga is headed.

“But we’ll be a little more direct about that in the coming months, to lay out a blueprint, so the public who wants to see the bigger picture can see a tiny bit more of the roadmap.”

Phase four is still a major focus for Marvel, with “Thor: Love and Thunder” coming this summer, followed by “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in November.

Meanwhile, 2023 will see ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ drops in May with ‘The Marvels’ two months later, while ‘Thunderbolts’ and the ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot have yet to receive a firm release date.
