Khloé Kardashian has confirmed that she learned about her then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s paternity scandal through her sister Kim Kardashian.
In December 2021, it was reported that Maralee Nichols filed a paternity lawsuit claiming the basketball star fathered his child and he later confirmed the news and apologized to Khloé, who he allegedly dated at the time of conception of her son.
This wasn’t the first time Khloé and Tristan’s relationship was rocked by infidelity. He previously cheated on her when she was pregnant with their four-year-old daughter, True, and they split in February 2019 after kissing Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordyn Woods.
During an appearance on Dear Media’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with Amanda Hirsch, the reality star confirmed that she learned about the paternity scandal through her sister Kim, and the cameras of their show The Kardashians were filming at that time.
“Every time that happens — which is so sad that it’s happened multiple times — but somehow there’s always, like, cameras with them,” Khloé said. “Kim was filming around 6 a.m., a workout because I think she and Kanye were doing something with the kids. So randomly they were filming, and Kim was in the gym, and she, in real time, found out the information. I found out thanks to Kim. A sister always tells me.”
She added, “I found out (Tristan’s infidelity) every time through a sister. And I found out with the rest of the world, which is the most offensive part. I mean, it’s all screwed up, but I just love, can there be some respect, could you have let me know before I found out on the Daily Mail?
After splitting in 2019, Khloé and Tristan rekindled their relationship in August 2020 after being quarantined together during the pandemic, but they broke up again in 2021.
