Kourtney Kardashian has slammed the paparazzi for selling old photos of her amid Travis Barker’s health scare.
Last week, the reality TV star’s musician husband was hospitalized with pancreatitis – an inflammation of the pancreas.
Addressing Travis’ health in a post shared on her Instagram Stories over the weekend, Kourtney spoke of a “scary and emotional week” and also took the opportunity to slam the paparazzi who sold footage to TMZ and claimed that they had shown her “running errands” in Encino, Los Angeles last Wednesday.
“To the paparazzi who sold pictures of me ‘outside’ while my husband was in the hospital fighting for his life…these are pictures taken weeks ago (I don’t even remember from the last time I wore this tracksuit in the photos) … I haven’t forgotten you,” she wrote. “A new level of depression, monetization of our nightmare. Really wildly uncool as I haven’t left it…shame on you.”
In response, TMZ editors released an update to their story in which they claimed the snaps were originally “depicted (as) they were taken (Wednesday in Encino” by a staff member of a photo agency.
“We have spoken to sources close to Kourtney who have told us that the photos are actually several weeks old and that she has not been discharged from the hospital since Travis’ admission,” they added.
After suffering from “severe and life-threatening” pancreatitis, Travis is still recovering from the ordeal.
“I am so, very grateful that with intensive treatment, I am currently doing much better,” he insisted in a press release.
