Margot Robbie was ‘mortified’ when photos leaked from the set of ‘Barbie’.

The 32-year-old actress was ‘dying inside’ as she filmed scenes with Ryan Gosling in neon spandex costumes for Greta Gerwig’s upcoming film and was horrified by the social media sensation that the photos of paparazzi have become.

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’, she said: “I can’t tell you how mortified we were, by the way.

“We look like we’re laughing and having fun, but we’re dying inside. Dying. I was like, this is the most humbling moment of my life.

When asked if she expected images to dominate the internet the way they have, she added, “No! I mean, I knew we had locations to shoot in LA. I knew that once you did exteriors you would get drunk.

“There’s probably going to be a small crowd of people who are going to notice because, you know, we kind of stand out in these outfits. So I knew there would be some attention, and probably some pictures would come out there , but not like he did.

“It felt like madness. It felt like hundreds of people were watching all the time.”

Margot recently insisted that the movie won’t be what people expect.

She said: “It comes with a lot of baggage! And a lot of nostalgic connections. But with that comes a lot of exciting ways to attack it. People usually hear ‘Barbie’ and think, ‘I know what this movie is going to do. be,” and then they hear that Greta Gerwig is writing it and directing it, and they’re like, “Oh, well, maybe I don’t.”

And the Australian actress’ co-star Emma Mackey previously explained that the cast – which also includes America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Scott Evans, Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Issa Rae, Michael Cera and Ncuti Gatwa – had stuck on sleepovers.

The ‘Sex Education’ star told Empire magazine, “From the start, we had a Barbies sleepover, which involved playing games with Scott and Ncuti.”

Emma added of the game of ping pong: “I don’t usually play games, because I get so competitive and angry. But Scott and I were the best.”
