Next James Bond: Regé-Jean Page cements the head of 007 after the news of the film – Tom Hardy loses | Movies | Entertainment

No Time to Die created a void in the James Bond mythos after Daniel Craig left the role of the iconic British spy. Now all eyes are on who will succeed the 54-year-old.

The official announcement of the next James Bond will likely come by the end of the year, but at this point bookies are the best bet on who could win the title.

A number of great actors are vying to become James Bond in the coming months.

Magneto star Michael Fassbender has an incredible 10/1 in claiming the Ladbrokes spot. He is joined by James Norton, who also has quiet luck. Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy also has the same odds with 10/1 – however he has previously claimed he was ‘flattered’ to be in the conversation but thinks the next 007 should be ‘female “.

Tom Hardy arrives just in front of this trio of pillars.

Hardy, who is best known right now for starring in Venom, currently has a mighty 8/1 from Ladbrokes. The British actor has become a 007 fan favorite at the moment – but he admitted he ‘won’t talk’ about becoming the next hero.

Unfortunately, the actor’s position hasn’t changed in the Bond ratings for some time. And, at the top of the table, is Régé-Jean Page, who is best known from Bridgerton.

The Gray Man is the first Netflix movie directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, and has a star-studded cast. That not only includes Ryan Gosling, Captain America star Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, but also Page.

Page’s only promotional photo shows him in a suit that looks dapper – but is he some kind of three-piece secret agent?

Of course, Page has yet to secure James Bond’s spot.

Close behind him in betting is Superman star Henry Cavill.

The British hunk currently has an impeccable 4/1 going Bond next.

And he definitely needs this win. In 2005, he went up against Craig in an audition for Casino Royale, but lost it because he was “too chubby”.
