‘No’ star Keke Palmer is convinced that there is definitely intelligent life in other parts of the universe.
The 28-year-old actress stars in Jordan Peele’s new sci-fi horror film which follows small-town residents who witness a freak event and attempt to capture footage of a UFO – and Keke is adamant she believes in aliens in real life too.
When asked by SFX magazine if she really believed there was “something out there?” she replied, “One thousand percent. Is that a real question, sir?
However, Keke’s co-star Daniel Kaluuya – who previously appeared in Jordanian horror ‘Get Out’ – isn’t so sure.
When asked the same question, he replied, “I don’t know. Statistically that would make sense – I don’t think we’re the only life forms in this universe. There are many planets and many stars. So when I look at it statistically and move away from the God complex of being human, I think there would be more people. There must be other things.
Keke added of ‘No’: “Jordan’s films are like works of art..
you’re going to see something totally different from what I’m going to see.
And that’s what makes it work. We’re in Peel-ian areas where his work doesn’t have to mean a thing to everyone and that’s what makes him fantastic.
“No” is scheduled for July 22.
