Additionally, Williams has issues with a scene in the series in which she would be portrayed as a “freeloader”, and the pivotal sequence set in Morocco in which she leaves a luxury resort after her husband’s credit card is declined. Old friend.

“Williams did not stop being friends with Sorokin because Sorokin was having trouble in Morocco, but rather because she later discovered upon her return to New York that Sorokin was a liar and a con man whose statements and the promises had prompted Williams to incur debts of approximately $62,000 in Sorokin’s name were false, and who only repaid him $5,000 despite numerous promises to repay him $70,000 to account for the full amount of debt and late fees incurred,” the lawsuit continues.
